PUFF PASTRY SAUSAGE ROLLS

INGREDIENTS

1 Marie pure butter puff pastry

4 Strasbourg sausages

2 tsp sweet mustard

50 g grated Emmental cheese

poppy seeds

1 egg yolk

METHOD

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 4 strips. Brush the strips with mustard and sprinkle with grated Emmental cheese.

3. Place 1 sausage on each strip. Then roll the puff pastry dough around the sausage, sealing both edges securely.

4. Brush the rolls with egg yolk and sprinkle with some poppy seeds.

5. Bake for 15 minutes, until the puff pastry is golden brown.
