RECIPE USING MARIE PUFF PASTRY DOUGH

INGREDIENTS (for 6 persons)

1 puff pastry of pure Maria butter  

100 g chorizo in thin slices  

5 tomatoes  

1 large onion  

2 cloves of garlic  

2 lumps of sugar  

1 egg  

 Salt Pepper 

ELABORACIÓN

  1. In an oiled frying pan, fry the chopped onion. Crush the tomatoes and add them to the onions. Add the sugar cubes, salt and pepper. 
  2. Add the crushed garlic cloves and simmer for 10-15 minutes. The mixture should stew and not be too runny. 
  3. Cut the chorizo slices in half. Cut the shortcrust pastry into about 6 strips. 
  4. Spread your tomato compote and distribute the half slices of chorizo along the length of the strips so that they stick out of the shortcrust pastry. 
  5. Fold the end of the dough over the chorizo slices and roll each strip into a roll. Arrange each of the rosettes in a muffin tin. Finally place in your oven, previously heated to 180°C, for 30 minutes.
